Valeo Raytheon Announces first OEM Production
Contracts.
Valeo Raytheon has been selected by
General Motors and Jaguar to provide blind- spot detection
sensors for several vehicle platforms beginning in Model Year 2008.
Cadillac, Buick and Jaguar vehicles are
currently available with VRS sensors available
as options.
Other OEM's and an increasing
number of vehicle models are being prepared for
future years introduction to the market.

Valeo Raytheon Selected as key supplier for
Department of Transportation naturalistic driving
behavior study.
Valeo Raytheon
was
selected by Virginia Tech Transportation Institute as the
supplier of automotive radar proximity sensors for a DOT
study on driver behavior during lane change maneuvers.

coverage and angular resolution that we found with VRS."
This allows unprecedented discrimination of
an object's distance, direction and speed of travel.
